Kodak Black was arrested late Thursday in south Florida on seven felony counts.
The 20-year-old rapper, originally from Pembroke Pines, is being held in Broward County Jail for grand theft of a firearm, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, marijuana possession, child neglect and probation violation.
While details of the arrest are unclear, the rapper, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, has a history of run-ins with the law.
He was released from Broward County jail in June after violating his house arrest, stemming from a May 2016 arrest for armed robbery, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a delinquent and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.
In October, he was indicted by a South Carolina grand jury for first degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly assaulting a teenage girl at a hotel after a concert.
He was released on Dec. 1 on a $100,000 bond but faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
