An actress has filed a lawsuit against Omar Epps, claiming he was negligent and reckless on the set of “Shooter,” resulting in her broken arm.
Donzaleigh Abernathy claims in the suit, acquired by TMZ, that Epps “completely deviated from the script” and “threw his left forearm with full force at (her) right arm,” breaking it.
In a first-season storyline of the USA Network series, Abernathy played the mother of Bob Lee’s best friend, Donny Fenn. Abernathy’s Susan Fenn, considered a loose end in the murder, is killed by Epps’ Isaac Johnson.
The actress also claims Epps dropped her on the floor and hurt her back, sending her to the hospital.
Abernathy is suing Epps and Paramount Pictures for negligence and assault and battery, according to TMZ.
