A mother disappeared with her 6-year-old son after the boy’s father handed him over for a visit in a meet-up at an NYPD precinct stationhouse in the Bronx, cops said.
The bizarre incident kicked off about 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 when the parents of little Vincezo Dacchile rendezvoused at the 45th Precinct headquarters in Throgs Neck, cops said.
The estranged pair have shared custody of Vincenzo but the boy lives with his father in the Bronx.
The unidentified dad handed off Vincenzo to his mother Ketanya Burke, but she failed to bring him back, cops said.
Sometime later, Burke sent an email to the boy’s father saying she was taking him to Minnesota, sources said.
It’s not uncommon for estranged parents with a volatile past to meet at police stationhouses to hand over children.
The boy is 4-feet-tall and weights roughly 50 pounds, with brown eyes and close-cropped brown hair, cops said.
The 42-year-old Burke, who lives in Queens, is about 5-foot-3 and weighs 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair, cops said.
